Flooring Installation FQA (frequently asked questions)
1️⃣ Do you provide free estimates?
We don’t offer on-site free estimates, as we focus on keeping prices fair and transparent. Instead, we provide quick and accurate estimates remotely — by phone, video call, or using your own room measurements. This saves time and money for both sides while keeping our pricing lower than major installation chains.
2️⃣ How do I get an estimate for my flooring project?
Simply measure the length and width of each room and send us the dimensions. You can also share photos or a short video of the floor. We’ll calculate how much material you’ll need and provide a detailed price quote for installation and any required preparation.
If the client decides to move forward with the project, we can then schedule a verification visit to double-check measurements and material quantities before the work begins. This ensures accuracy and avoids waste — but it’s only done once the project is confirmed.
3️⃣ Who buys the flooring materials?
You do! We’ll give you an exact materials list and help you choose the best options based on your needs and budget. You can order from Home Depot, Lowe’s, Floor & Decor, or another local supplier.
If delivery isn’t available, we can pick up your materials from the store on installation day using our own vehicle.
4️⃣ What’s included in the installation service?
Our all-inclusive flooring installation covers:
-
Moving furniture (if needed)
-
Removing old flooring or carpet
-
Subfloor inspection
-
Installing vinyl, laminate, or hardwood
-
Full cleanup after completion
🟡 Note: Subfloor leveling is billed separately, since it requires extra material and time. We’ll advise you in advance if leveling is needed.
5️⃣ How do I schedule the installation?
Once the materials are ready or delivered, we’ll agree on the installation date. We’re flexible and work around your schedule whenever possible. We’ll confirm the timing and details so you know exactly what to expect.
6️⃣ Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To confirm your project and reserve your installation date, we require a 30% deposit. This covers scheduling, preparation, and material handling. The balance is due after installation, once you’ve inspected and approved the work.
7️⃣ Do you offer an installation warranty?
Yes. All installations come with a one-year labor warranty, covering installation-related issues such as lifting, separation, or uneven joints (excluding damage from moisture or misuse). If any issue appears, we’ll come back and make it right.
Deposit Policy
To confirm your project and reserve your installation date, we require a deposit once the estimate is approved. The deposit is typically 30% of the total project cost for small jobs and up to 50% for larger or multi-day installations. This deposit helps us cover scheduling, preparation, and coordination.
The remaining balance is due after the work is completed and approved by the client.
Payments can be made by cash, check, Zelle, or another agreed method. Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or a date has been reserved, but can be transferred to a rescheduled date if needed.
